Gallery entries represent material that supplements the 3D models that are the focus of this website. 2D elements include images or diagrams that complement 3D models elsewhere on the site or show specimens that we plan to feature models to be added in the future. 4D elements are animations that show some of the potential of 3D models to clarify aspects of organismal structure and function. Likewise, they can clarify site structure far more effectively than any 2D map. As more specimens are included, we expect to expand this section greatly. The Museum of Paleontology also has an extensive archive of specimen illustrations. A selection of archival images has been made available to view.
