Downloading 3D Data
Registered users of the website are permitted to download some 3D model data for personal use, education, and research. By registering, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Appropriate credit should be given when using downloaded 3D model data. Please cite in this way:
“3D Model Data Courtesy of the University of Michigan Museum of Paleontology UMORF site; umorf.ummp.lsa.umich.edu”
Where applicable, specimen catalog numbers and original scientific publications should also be cited.
Changes made to the data must be noted.
Commercial use of 3D model data requires written permission from the University of Michigan Museum of Paleontology. Inquiries regarding commercial use can be made by emailing Paleo-Museum@umich.edu or by calling (734)764-0489.
Personally Identifiable Information
This website uses Google Analytics to track usage. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information of non-registered site visitors.
We collect information including name, email address, and affiliation as part of our registration process through a user submitted form. This information will not be sold or otherwise provided to third parties, unless required by law. File downloads by registered users are logged.
These Terms will be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Michigan. Any actions in regard to these Terms will be heard, decided, and resolved in Michigan.
